Cygnet Brunel Shows its Pride
Cygnet Brunel celebrated Pride Month last Friday through a cap making session in the morning.
This provided a safe and creative space to promote awareness and promote identity with service users and staff. The team provided a summer BBQ for lunch and the Pride celebrations continued in the afternoon, which saw cap makers and audience members strut their stuff and parade the caps on the “capwalk” for all to adore and admire!
Occupational Therapy Patrick Deward said: “The day was a fabulous celebration of the diversity and pride that Brunel reflect. As we wrap our celebrations, Pride reminds us that diversity, inclusion, and authenticity have always existed and deserve to be celebrated every day.”
