Cygnet Appletree celebrates 10th birthday
Earlier this week the team at Cygnet Appletree, near Durham, celebrated the service’s 10th birthday. A special birthday cake was made and treats and goodie bags were handed out to staff and service users. The hospital provides specialist PICU and acute services to women across two wards.
Interim Hospital Manager Fran Bergin said, “Although the site has seen several changes and lots of new staff across those years the ‘Team Appletree’ spirit is very evident. We are happy to celebrate 10 years and want to thank staff, both old and new for their support and for all that they bring to the team, and for the care they provide to those who stay with us. We appreciate all you do, never underestimate the difference you make and the lives you touch.”
