Celebrating Nigerian Independence Day at Oaklands
Multicultural Ambassador Daramola organised a celebration of Nigerian Independence Day at Oaklands, bringing staff and people we support together to mark the occasion.
Support Worker Chimezie prepared traditional Nigerian food for everyone to enjoy, whilst staff and individuals we support wore green to honour the national colours. The day featured music and cuisine that created an opportunity for cultural sharing and celebration.
Everyone enjoyed the different food and music saying it was a fantastic day!
