Celebrating Black History Month at Cygnet Hospital Wyke

Last week service users and staff at Cygnet Hospital Wyke celebrated Black History Month in style. Events took place throughout the day including a quiz on Black History Month which service users from all three wards participated in, karaoke and a tasty selection of food from different nations throughout the world, including some amazing jerk chicken, rice and peas!

Jerry Crawford from Collective Impact attended as a guest speaker to give a talk on why equality is so important. It was a truly wonderful day for all and everyone enjoyed the event. A special thank you from all at the hospital to Calford Bent from the Therapy team for organising the celebrations!
