Celebrating Africa Day at Cygnet Bury Hudson
The celebration, which took place at the social hub, featured a variety of delicious African dishes, lovingly prepared by members of our diverse staff team. Patients and colleagues had the opportunity to sample different foods, explore new flavours and learn more about the diverse culinary traditions represented.
The atmosphere was brought to life by staff dressed in beautiful traditional African attire, adding colour and cultural pride to the occasion. The event created a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, share experiences and celebrate diversity in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
The day was filled with laughter, conversation and a strong sense of community. Patients particularly enjoyed trying the different dishes and learning about the cultures behind them.
