Burleigh Ward’s World Cup and Birthday Party
On 1st July, Burleigh Ward at Cygnet Hospital Kidsgrove had an evening activity where staff and service users helped to decorate the communal lounge to watch the World Cup. They also decorated the lounge and a peer’s bedroom door when she had gone out with staff, as it was her birthday!
Service users and staff had ordered a pizza and got some picky bits to enjoy whilst watching the match and had lots of fun. Later on in the evening, staff also sang happy birthday to the peer and enjoyed some cake!
