Bowling at Cygnet Hospital Colchester
At Cygnet Hospital Colchester the occupational therapy staff planned a trip to the local bowling alley to put into practice skills learned on the ward within the community. It was a competitive affair with service users from Highwoods ward saying “I’m playing to win!”
The trip was a chance to engage with members of the community and encourage each other with guidance on how to perfect their shot, a true diamond was revealed – one service user took on the title of ‘spare king’, managing to land himself with 6 spares in a row!
