Black History Month celebration at the Cygnet Bury Hudson Social Hub
The Cygnet Bury Hudson Social Hub came alive as staff and service users gathered to celebrate Black History Month in vibrant style.
The theme of this year’s celebration was “Standing Firm in Power and Pride” and the event was full of colour, culture and community spirit, with staff dressed in beautiful traditional attire.
Everyone enjoyed a rich variety of African and Caribbean dishes, showcasing the flavours of the diaspora. A friendly food competition added to the excitement, with East Hampton Ward proudly taking home the prize for Best Food and presentation.
The atmosphere was joyful and inclusive, bringing everyone together to honour heritage and unity. Our Hospital Manager, Sibo, joined in the celebration, showing great support for this memorable event.
