Be Your Own Valentine at Cygnet Cedars
Recognising that Valentine’s Day means different things to everyone, the team encouraged service users to focus on the most meaningful relationship of all – the one we have with ourselves. Throughout the day, individuals took part in thoughtful and inclusive activities including writing uplifting messages, creating affirmation cards, sharing compliments, and enjoying music and treats together.
To make the day extra special, the catering team also provided a themed Valentine’s menu, which was very well received and added to the sense of celebration on the ward.
Support Worker Raluca Paduraru said: “Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success – it was a lovely reminder that small acts of kindness can have a big impact.”
