Alpaca Therapy at Old Leigh House
The residents at Old Leigh House love Alpacas! They visit them at least twice a month to treat them with fresh fruits and vegetables. The local farm at Great Wakering has Huacaya Alpacas (with woolly, dense and short fleece fur). As the residents found out, alpaca fur is flame and water resistant. They are therapeutic animals, due to their sensitive and intuitive nature. The residents cannot resist their cuteness too!
