African culture day and traditional Easter fun at Cygnet Maple House
The residents and staff at Cygnet Maple House enjoyed a vibrant and varied Easter Weekend filled with cultural celebrations and traditional festivities.
On Sunday, the team held an African themed day, with the staff dressing in African attire for the day. A special thank you went to Afolabi, Temi, Gloria and Lorraine for cooking such wonderful food and for all getting involved in the dancing and activities throughout the day. Easter Monday was more of a traditional themed day with Easter activities and an egg hunt within the service that everyone got involved with. All participants reported that it was extremely fun.
