All the services in Cygnet’s social care division have been given the opportunity to put themselves forward for our new Dignity in Care Awards. To date over 60 of our social care services have been presented with their Dignity in Care Award.

A new acute mental health service for men has opened at Cygnet Lodge Woking in Surrey. George Willard Ward is a new 11-bed male mental health acute service and is named in memory of two local health care workers.
In May, Cygnet Churchill launched a new therapeutic group for service users as part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2021. The ‘Art in the Park’ group is a collaboration between the Occupational Therapy and Psychology department which aims to empower service users to develop resilience and self-management skills using resources found in nature.

As part of an ongoing partnership we are pleased to support Taunton Town Football Club’s new Community Engagement Project. The football club has designed and will deliver a structured programme of engagement which will provide members of the local community with the opportunity to participate in a broad range of free sporting and non-sporting activities.
