Dove Valley Mews our new community residential service for adults living with a learning disability and associated complex needs is opening in June 2019 and is now accepting referrals.
We are pleased to report that following inspections on 17th December 2018 both Cygnet Grange and Cygnet Lodge have the criteria to be members of the Independent Neurorehabilitation Providers Alliance (INPA).

We are proud to announce that Cygnet Health Care have been shortlisted as finalists for 4 HealthInvestor Awards 2019 in the following categories, Private Hospital Group of the Year, Residential Care Provider of the Year, Property Developer of the Year and IT Innovator of the Year.
Cygnet Hospital Sheffield are to open a new 15 bed low secure service for young people. Griffin Ward will support individuals aged between 12 and 18 years old and offers a defined treatment pathway from admission, through to intervention and discharge. The new service opens in March 2019 and is now accepting referrals.
We are delighted to announce that eight service user led projects from Cygnet Health Care services have been shortlisted as finalists for the National Service User Awards 2019. Service user led projects from Cygnet Hospital Bury, Cygnet Hospital Derby and Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke have all been shortlisted for the final.
On Friday 22 February the team at Cygnet Brunel, our neuropsychiatric service in Bristol for men with mental health difficulties and acquired brain injury, took part in World Encephalitis Day. World Encephalitis Day is a campaign to raise awareness about all aspects of encephalitis.
We'd like to wish a warm welcome to Caroline Birtles-Harris who has been appointed to the role of Nursing Educational Lead. Caroline has joined us to form strong links with our academic partners across the UK so that we can ensure we are able to host student nurses within our sites.
We are delighted to announce that, following an inspection on 22-23 November 2018, Cygnet Manor has been rated Good in four areas and Outstanding in the ‘Caring’ category by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Following a recent audit Cygnet Hospital Taunton’s Mulberry Ward, an acute admissions / intensive support service for older men, has had a dementia friendly makeover.
Hollyhurst residential service in Darlington have hosted a Shining Star Staff Recognition Awards to recognise the great work done by their staff team, as well as the achievements of the people they support.
