Cygnet Health Care are delighted to be a partner in the the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Provider Collaborative for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
Congratulations to Dr Hina Tahseen, a consultant psychiatrist at Cygnet Delfryn House in Mold, who has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Specialty Doctor / Associate Specialist of the Year’ category in the Royal College of Psychiatrists annual RCPsych Awards.
We are very proud to announce that after being selected as a finalist for this year’s National Service User Awards, that Cygnet Sedgley House and Lodge were awarded the prestigious ‘Mark Britton Service User Choice Award’.
Cygnet Hospital Maidstone is working in partnership with Kent Cricket to give service users the opportunity to get active and engage with the sport. Well done to the team at Cygnet Hospital Colchester who have seen the hospital’s rating upgraded to ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Significant improvements were identified across all areas and as a result the hospital achieved a ‘Good’ rating in all five key lines of enquiry.
Now that Covid restrictions have been eased the “Get Hooked on Fishing Group” is back at Cygnet Hospital Bury and is as popular as ever. The most recent fishing trip took place in the sunshine at Bradshaw Hall Fisheries, near Bolton, where the group managed a rare barbel catch.
Occupational Therapist and Sensory Integration Practitioner, Tania Amos, has been developing a Lego-building activity to be used therapeutically to support residents and their individuals’ goals.
