Cygnet Hospital Beckton recently ran their latest Fun Fortnight. The Fun Fortnights are held twice a year at the hospital, one in the summer and one at Christmas. It is a time for service users and staff to take a break from the scheduled timetable and have a chance to try something new and fun.

Cygnet Hospital Sheffield’s Spencer Ward has scored 94% in a review by the Quality Network for Forensic Mental Health Services. This month staff from Cygnet Hospital Beckton presented Reflective Mapping at The Division of Forensic Psychology Conference. The Reflective Mapping model uses ideas and principles from the Cognitive Analytic Therapy to help teams develop reflective skills.
We are delighted to announce that NHS England has confirmed Cygnet Health Care as a partner in three of the 11 new programmes to take on devolved tertiary mental health commissioning. The 11 new care model programmes will be responsible for a £300m commissioning budget.
