People working in social care are being encouraged to share their social care superpowers as part of a new campaign that we are launching today. The social care superpower campaign is being run by the Cygnet Social Care division and aims to highlight the ordinary people with extraordinary skills who bring unique qualities to their social care services and make a valuable, positive difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society.

This year’s theme was ‘Transforming and Raising the Profile of Occupational Therapy’ and we heard from former service users, Cygnet Occupational Therapy teams and external professionals about the subject.

On Tuesday 6th June the Yorkshire and Humber Involvement Network held their annual involvement conference, this year in the form of a live music festival called Welly Fest 23! In 2020 we launched our Characters of Care recognition scheme; a peer-to-peer initiative that empowers staff to celebrate their colleagues for doing an exceptional job and we’re delighted to be able to announce our Characters of Care award winners for 2022.
