Mark Stephens CBE appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director

Cygnet Health Care is pleased to announce Mark Stephens CBE as an Independent Non-Executive Director. As an internationally accomplished and respected human rights lawyer, who has previously worked on safeguarding, Mark brings a wealth of expertise and insight to Cygnet’s innovative Non-Executive Advisory Board.

Cygnet Hospital Maidstone celebrates 2nd Anniversary

The team at Cygnet Hospital Maidstone recently celebrated their 2nd anniversary by holding a fun fair themed event for all service users and staff. The event included lots of party games, some great food and even a new dance routine.

Winners announced for Cygnet’s Nursing Awards 2020

On Tuesday 13th October we held our first ever Cygnet Nursing Awards. The event was held virtually and was hosted by Cygnet’s Director of Nursing, David Wilmott. There were 8 awards categories with colleagues nominated by staff members, and service users from across Cygnet.

Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital’s Grand Opening Day

On Wednesday 7th October we held our grand opening event at Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital, our new state-of-the-art Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) hospital in Coventry. The hospital has been named after Joyce Parker, a caring and dedicated support worker at one of our services in the West Midlands who sadly passed away during the COVID pandemic.
