Toller Road residents pay a visit to King Power Stadium
Toller Road recently supported residents on a fantastic trip to the King Power Stadium, home of Leicester City, to watch a charity football match.
The visit was arranged by Michelle, an Activity Coordinator, with Rodney and Paul, Support Workers, helping on the day. They got to meet the referees and line officials in the referees’ lounge and had a drink with the them before the match.
To top it off, they were also able to walk through the players entrance and tunnel to the pitch, where they took pictures with the match football and sat in the players’ seats.
The residents enjoyed the match and it was a lovely day in aid of a good cause, raising money for British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research, with everyone looking forward to next year’s charity fundraiser.
