Summer Celebration Marks Ten-Year Milestone at Nightingale
The celebration was truly a community effort, with the housekeeper organising a popular hook-a-duck game, whilst the maintenance team crafted a hand-made mini golf course. The manager volunteered for the stocks, allowing everyone to enjoy some lighthearted fun, and staff members took turns managing the mocktail station throughout the day.
The people we support and staff alike enjoyed a day filled with laughter and connection. A delicious BBQ prepared by the chef was followed by cake and jelly for dessert, creating the perfect celebration.
Certificates were given to all participants and organisers, with special thanks to Deputy Manager Kerry, who received flowers from the people we support in appreciation of her role as the main event organiser and her creative ideas that made the day so successful.
The festivities concluded with an energetic water fight in the garden, perfectly capturing the joyful, inclusive spirit that makes Nightingale a true home for the people we support.
