St Patrick’s Day at Cygnet Sedgley Lodge and House
Service users enjoyed a traditional Irish stew for lunch, prepared by Chefs Emily Millard and Maxine Young. In the afternoon, Activity Coordinators Sam Goode, Kellie and Georgie Hordell organised a lively event that was a bit hit with the staff and service users from both services.
In the lounge, there was food and drink for everyone to enjoy, which included a rainbow fruit platter, a sweet platter and other green-themed snacks for the occasion. Games such as giant Connect 4, a reaction game, colouring activities, brainteasers and ping pong offered everyone a bit of healthy competition.
All staff wore green for the day and they also had a St Patrick’s Day playlist on in the background which was chosen by one of the service users. He enjoyed singing in the afternoon.
