Rocky from Thera-Pony visits Ellen Mhor for some horsing around
Jenna, from the local organisation ‘Thera-Pony’ brought Rocky the pony to visit Ellen Mhor to meet the service users and staff, and spread some cheer and happiness.
After Rocky arrived at Ellen Mhor in his horsebox, he spent time with the service users and staff, getting to know them and saying hello. He was happy to spend his visit in the garden eating grass, getting petted and posing for photos with everyone.
Jenna, Rocky’s owner, told everyone what it takes to look after him and what he gets up to at the farm that he lives on. Rocky was friendly and he enjoyed getting his coat and mane brushed to keep him looking well-groomed.
Service user Lorna also helped Rocky get some exercise by taking him for a walk around the car park. Everyone was sad to see Rocky leave but they will certainly remember his visit to Ellen Mhor!
