Ranaich’s Rodeo Brings the Wild West to Scotland

On Friday 7th August, Ranaich House hosted their annual fun day ‘Ranaich’s Rodeo’, which was a huge success and filled with plenty fun, laughter and Wild West spirit.

There was lots going on throughout the afternoon, giving everyone a chance to get involved and enjoy themselves. The two Wild West games, Cactus Hoopla and the Wild West Shootout, were a big hit and brought plenty of friendly competition.

They also had a tombola and raffle, with lots of people getting involved and trying their luck. The talented chefs also helped make the day extra special by putting on a delicious Wild West inspired menu for everyone to enjoy.

Activity Coordinator Molly Sinclair said: “It was wonderful to see the people we support, their families, and staff all coming together, joining in with the activities and making the most of the day. Most importantly everyone had an amazing time and the atmosphere was brilliant. We are incredibly proud to say that thanks to everyone’s support and generosity we raised an amazing £650. This is a fantastic achievement and wouldn’t have been possible without everyone who took part in our day”

Service Manager Jorden Gallagher said “A huge thank you to all the friends and family who came along to make the day a success. It was great to see everyone having fun. A huge thank you to all the local businesses who supported our raffle and everyone who purchased tickets helping us to raise funds for the upcoming festive activities.

“Thank you to Molly our activities coordinator and our service users for planning this day together, it’s one of our teams favourite days of the year. A special thank you to our support worker Glen’s mum, who made the most sought after hampers than definitely helped sell those tickets this year! Roll on Ranaich’s next rodeo in 2027.”
