No Strings Attached at Cygnet Views
The team at Cygnet Views are piloting a new group – “No Strings Attached”. The No Strings Attached Group is a weekly session led by the clinical and management team for an afternoon to engage in a leisure based/fun activity. The purpose of this group is that ‘no strings are attached’; service user have no requirement to engage in any clinical work, discuss their care or treatment and can simply enjoy spending time with wider members of the Multidisciplinary Team.
The aim is to build rapport, increase attendance at other, clinically focused sessions and ultimately to have fun! So far, individuals have enjoyed a smoothie making session, ice creams and fruit skewers, garden games, quizzes and have spent time enjoying a visit to Matlock Park and a nearby tearoom having milkshakes. This group has been enjoyed by service users and staff alike!
