Nightingale Holiday at Rockley Park
After journeying down to Poole and settling in, the fun quickly began. Throughout the week, individuals enjoyed a wide range of activities including arcade games (and winning plenty of prizes!), swimming and water slides, walks along the private beach and Ham Common, as well as evening entertainment and disco dancing. There was also time for mini golf, football, puzzles, colouring, bingo and much more.
Both staff and residents had a fantastic time, with many already looking forward to the next Nightingale holiday. One resident said, “I want to go to Rockley Park again next year!” while another added, “I want to win more teddies in the arcade.”
Families also shared their appreciation, saying: “I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all the staff at Nightingale for the wonderful week you gave my loved one and the other residents last week on their holiday – it was amazing and it sounds as if she thoroughly enjoyed herself.”
