Long Eaton (Sports) Day Services!
Last week Long Eaton Day Services held their Sports Day at a local park. Staff and service users had a great day, taking part in many different sports and games such as football, rounders, cricket, parachute, bowling and races. They also had staff as moving targets for service users to aim at! With a soft Velcro ball, of course!
They also had a sports-themed buffet menu, with fruit Olympic rings, sporty smoothies, party food, and a sports cake made by Ulett. To finish the day off there was then a sports quiz and bingo. Everyone then went home with their own trophy and certificate. A massive thank you to everyone at Long Eaton for taking part!
