Long Eaton Day Service Celebrates Chinese New Year
Staff and service users at Long Eaton Day Services had lots of fun celebrating Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year, on Wednesday 29th January.
For lunch, they enjoyed a Chinese chicken curry, spring rolls and prawn crackers.
Throughout the day they listened to relaxing Chinese music before having their team challenge in the afternoon. The challenge involved staff and service users working together to create their own Chinese Dragon! The service users helped to create the dragons and one team incorporated their service users by hiding underneath their dragon and parading it around the centre for everyone to enjoy.
Happy Lunar New Year from everyone at Long Eaton Day Services!
