Jungle Fun at Cygnet Brunel
On Thursday 24th August, service users and staff at Cygnet Brunel, our neuropsychiatric service in Bristol, enjoyed a fantastic jungle-themed fete.
Occupational Therapist, Jasmine Todd, said: “Our committee decided that they wanted a jungle and safari theme. So we got lots of different themed activities including some Get Us Out Of Here horrible beans to taste and try and some mystery boxes. We had a coconut shy, some nice mocktails, face painting and tattoos. There was also paint the rocks, mask making, and various different games and we’ve got a tombola as well to win some prizes.”
Daniel, a service user, said: “It was lovely because you get to see the staff in a different light, more informal. And then you meet different service users from different wards. And your family can see how much you’ve progressed and meet the staff, and they get to know the faces from the names that we tell them about.”
