Cygnet Grange and Lodge’s Christmas Charity Appeal
This initiative provides toys to children living in refuges after fleeing domestic abuse, ensuring they receive a gift at Christmas.
Staff, service users, and families all joined in by purchasing gifts and fundraising to boost donations. Megan, a Support Worker, raffled off a hamper consisting of homemade sweet treats, such as fudge, cake pops and cheesecakes, to increase donations. The raffle raised an extra £120, which was spent on purchasing more gifts for the charitable appeal.
Claire Bradford, Hospital Manager, said: “It’s always a pleasure to watch the gifts grow. The look on the faces of our service users and staff for giving back to the community and helping who find this time of year difficult is just lovely.”
