Cygnet Churchill celebrates Black History Month
The team at Cygnet Churchill recently had a wonderful celebration for Black History Month.
The event started with a presentation from Peter Fornah (Clinical Quality and Compliance Manager), and included speeches by Bernard Geyi (Accounts Assistant) and Rebecca Fordwor (Palm Ward Manager) who presented on the links between mental wellbeing and staff experiences.
There was a very interesting quiz focusing on achievements of prominent members of the Black community, a best dressed competition for traditional dress and a delectable meal by the kitchen staff. Everyone enjoyed the fine food including the service users who got involved in the day.
