Service users and staff at Cygnet Hospital Woking recently enjoyed a day of animal assisted therapy courtesy of Critterish Allsorts. Animal assisted therapy (also known as Pet Therapy) has been shown to reduce stress and promote well being. It can also increase socialisation, improve self-esteem and confidence and promote empathy and responsibility.
