Connor’s Trip: Trains, Thrills and Open-Top Transport
Connor, an individual we support at Hollyhurst in Darlington, recently enjoyed a holiday to Scarborough.
Connor goes on holiday once a year for his birthday he chooses the destination with help from his keyworkers, this year he wanted to spend three days in Scarborough.
He loves to use public transport so, with his keyworker and another member of staff, Connor got a train from Darlington to York then to Scarborough, where he then went on an open-top bus. He enjoyed numerous rides.
Activity Coordinator Claire Hague said: “Connor had a lovely time and he is now planning where to go next.”
