Chef Guy says farewell to Toller Road
The staff at Toller Road bid farewell to Chef Guy Churchill, as he moves on to an administrative role at Conifers, our specialist residential home for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Guy has served as the main Chef at Toller Road for nine years and has been a highly respected team member. Last year, Guy helped Toller Road to achieve a 5* rating following a Food Standards Agency visit, which he was very proud of.
Michelle Robertson, Activities Co-ordinator at Toller Road said: ‘He will be missed by everyone due to his incredible cooking and the fun and laughter he brought to the workplace. Guy always went the ‘extra mile’ to ensure the service users received the food they enjoy.’
Lorna, the Kitchen Assistant, created an amazing ‘food-themed’ cake for the occasion and the team presented Guy with leaving gifts, including a rabbit ornament for his garden.
