Afternoon tea party held for National Swallowing Day at Cygnet Hospital Hexham
Carer Leads Julie Johnson and Anthony Saiger held an afternoon tea on both wards in aid of National Swallowing Day to raise awareness and promote nutrition and fluid intake.
Both wards enjoyed music, a great selection of food and social interaction – there was even some line dancing! It was a rip roar of an event, with both the multidisciplinary team and service users having a great time. Thank you to Julie, Anthony and our kitchen team for putting together such a successful day.
