A new mural and garden developments at Cygnet Newham House
The team at Cygnet Newham House have been doing some work over the summer with the patients in the gardens. A sensory garden and an outside space for visitors to use when visiting their loved ones is underway.
The patients have been getting involved by visiting the community to look for sensory plants and are decorating the areas with works of art completed within the hospital. A new ‘Discharge Mural’ has also been painted within the hospital which was chosen by the patients to write messages on as part of their discharge pathway.
