The aim of the conference is to celebrate the evolution and progress of Involvement in Secure Services in Yorkshire and Humber. The Yorkshire and Humber Network brings together service users and staff from 16 different hospitals that include NHS and private organisations providing low and medium secure care. The Network is about sharing best practice and collaborative working to improve the experience and quality of support that people receive.
The conference will include talks from key note speaker Julia Lee from Common Sense Initiative and Expert by Experience Wayne Saville. There will also be interactive workshops, music and theatrical performances and underground tours of the Coal Mine!
