Dr Gupta provides Senior Clinical Leadership and expertise in leading the MDT to manage complex patients, suffering from personality disorder and disordered eating, to achieve their recovery goals.
He has more than 28 years of experience as a Psychiatry and has been a Consultant Psychiatrist for 18 years. He worked in the NHS for many years before moving to the independent sector.
He is a member of The Royal College of Psychiatrists and also an examiner of the CASC Examiners Board of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Dr Gupta graduated in Medicine from India and completed his core psychiatry training in Midlands followed by completion of higher training in psychiatry from Cambridge Deanery. He went on to complete his Master’s degree in Psychiatry from Keele University and has Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training CCST in General Psychiatry.
He is highly experienced and a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of adult ADHD. He has been diagnosing and treating Adult ADHD patients for the last 6 years, between 18
65 years of age, in the NHS and privately funded and /or through their insurance providers.
He follows a robust diagnostic protocol for the patients involving thorough assessment and various questionnaires including DIVA-5. He collects collateral information, before reaching a confirmed diagnosis.
Dr Gupta is available to see self-funding and insured patients.
