He was awarded Staff choice Star Award in 2018 whilst working in NHS. He is member of Royal College of Psychiatrists and holds a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry from Republic of Ireland.
Dr Naveed has more than 20 years’ experience in mental health services, and has worked in a variety of settings including acute inpatients, community as well as PICU. He led and ECT (Electro Convulsive Therapy) service for more than five years whilst working in NHS before moving to Cygnet.
He has extensive experience in assessing and managing mental disorders and has special interest and more than 6 years’ experience in diagnosing and managing ADHD. He is an approved practitioner Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1997 and has vast experience in assessing mental capacity.
Dr Naveed is known for his compassionate and patient centered clinical practice. Currently he is responsible for providing clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team on Rosa ward (PICU) at Cygnet Hospital Oldbury.
Dr Naveed is available to see self-funding and insured patients for online ADHD and mental health assessments.
