Meet the Team

Shukri Ali - Registered Manager

Shukri has worked for Cygnet for over 10 years and has worked closely within management for 9 years. She is a dual-qualified learning disability and mental health nurse with vast experience in complex mental health, autism, learning disabilities and behaviours that may challenge. Shukri has worked across both male and female mental rehabilitation hospitals, supported living and residential care services within Cygnet, holding various nursing and management roles in this time.

Shukri has been with Willow House since June 2022 and is currently the Registered Manager. Shukri has a strong focus on establishing and implementing good practice across the service and enjoys working closely as part of the team at Willow House.

Adetomi Adedeji - Deputy Manager

Adetomi is a dedicated and experienced mental health nurse with a bachelor's degree in nursing and a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. With a career spanning over a decade, in 2011 Adetomi began her healthcare journey in Nigeria. Her commitment to providing exceptional care and support to individuals facing mental health challenges quickly earned her recognition and respect among her peers and service users.

In October 2022, Adetomi brought her expertise to the United Kingdom, where she continues to shine in the field of mental health nursing. As a Deputy Manager, she plays a pivotal role in managing and leading staff teams, ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care and support. She is a testament to her commitment to continuous learning and excellence in her field.

Karan Landa-Singh - Administrator

Karan is a hardworking and motivated individual who thrives to succeed in everything he does.

He has a bachelors in Business and Finance and has 10 years’ experience working in an office environment in different sectors.

Karan joined the team at Willow House in July 2024. He is the first point of contact at Willow House and his role involves performing clerical duties, welcoming and supporting new recruits with on-boarding and induction. Karan’s role further involves supporting staff in position within the service efficiently on a day-to-day basis with any admin and HR queries.

Karan enjoys working closely as part of the team at Willow House and offers exceptional support to residents, families and staff.

Anisa Zahoor - Activity Co-ordinator

Anisa joined the team at Willow House in November 2023 as an Activity coordinator. She has brought a range of life skills to Willow House, including supporting residents to lead on creating their own activity schedules by completing activity interest checklists.

Anisa’s role involves getting everyone’s creative side out of them, including her own. Since being at Willow House Anisa has planned, developed and implemented person-centres activity schedules and in-house activities for the residents at Willow House.

Her role further involves communicating and liaising with families to bring those activity ideas to life by ensuring finances and budgets are planned properly with families and appointees.
