Nightingale goes to Thorpe Park
Residents and staff at Nightingale recently enjoyed a thrilling trip to Thorpe Park!
The residents spent the weekend making their picnics, and a birthday cake for a staff member. On Monday morning, they surprised the staff member by singing and showing him the cake, they then got ready and left for Thorpe Park. Once they arrived at Thorpe Park, staff tried to suggest the small and calm rides, but the residents wanted to go on the big rides with the loops, drops, and spins!
Residents and staff had an amazing day together, and supported each other through the scarier parts of rides. Residents were very brave and courageous when it came to getting over their fears and worries of the bigger rides. They are already planning their next theme park trip!!
