Mother’s Day Garden Project at Cygnet Sherwood Lodge
The team at Cygnet Sherwood Lodge have been renovating an old garden area in time for Mother’s Day. Service users have been involved from start to finish. This has included cutting back all the overgrown trees, bushes and shrubs, clearing and weeding the patio area and emptying the old planters out. After this they have then filled the planters back up with fresh top soil and painted them again to give them a new and fresh look.
For Mother’s Day the service users then planted a flower for their mum, grandma, auntie etc. Some have also planted a flower in memory of their mum who have passed away. The garden has been called “The Garden of Thought”.
