Cygnet Joyce Parker Hospital celebrates National Squirrel Appreciation Day
The young people on Dragon Ward at Cygnet Joyce Parker hospital recently asked if they could celebrate National Squirrel Appreciation Day on 21 January 2023. National Squirrel Appreciation Day celebrates one of our cutest wild animals and provides an opportunity to learn about these animals and how they benefit our environment. The young people enjoyed a day of squirrel themed activities and some of our staff dressed up to celebrate the occasion. There was a variety of activities available, including: baking Squirrel Cookies, Spot the Squirrel game, Pin the tail on the Squirrel, Squirrel Quiz, Squirrel Bingo, and an Acorn Scavenger Hunt.
