Cygnet Hospital Bury still Hooked on Fishing
The Get Hooked on Fishing group at Cygnet Hospital Bury continued to grow over the summer and remains a big hit with both staff and service users. On one of the most recent days out on the water Paul OKeefe from the OT team led the Columbus ward group to Whitmore fisheries in Chorley. Another fantastic day out enjoyed by all. These groups continue to maintain and develop positive therapeutic relationships between service users and staff. One service user said, “Every trip we learn something new. Nothing beats a day out fishing in the sunshine, the sun on your back helps your troubles fly by.”
