Cygnet Bury Forestwood celebrate Time to Talk Day and National Storytelling Week
The young people at Cygnet Bury Forestwood helped to celebrate Time To Talk Day (1st February) and National Storytelling Week yesterday.
The young people took part in various activities to help them talk about mental health in a positive way and come up with solutions to helping everyone deal with mental health difficulties.
They created Wizard Finger Puppets and told stories about what was affecting their wizard’s mental health.
They also had to work out if some statements about mental health were true or false and the reason why this was the case.
The last activity involved the young people creating a story using a colourful semantics structure. The stories were about different situations that affect our mental health and how to solve them.
