Celebrating 50 years as a registered nurse
The team at Cygnet Aspen House, our rehabilitation service in Mexborough, have held a surprise party for their hospital manager, Pauline Rees, for her 50th anniversary as a registered nurse. In addition to staff at Cygnet Aspen House, colleagues from other Cygnet services were also there to share their appreciation of Pauline’s incredible length of service.
Pauline said: “Wow! What an amazing surprise today. 50 years in nursing has flown by, and I can honestly say I have enjoyed every moment. I have always been driven to deliver compassionate quality care, and it has been such an honour to have been allowed into so many peoples lives. Thank you all for your wonderful messages on the card, and presents, it means so much to me. Also it was lovely to see those of you who specially came in, and celebrated with me. Many thanks to all of you at Cygnet Aspen House for being such a great team!”
