Annie The Alpaca Visits Ellen Mhor
Annie the Alpaca, from The Alpaca Trekking Centre in Thornhill, recently visited Ellen Mhor and was warmly greeted by everyone.
The alpaca was hand-reared by her owner Dannie after being rejected by her mother at birth and she now loves to spend time with other people and travels around the country attending different events, schools and care homes.
When Annie arrived, she made her way into the living room to greet everyone and introduce herself. Beth, one of the service users, then proceeded to give Annie a tour of the building to meet all the staff and residents.
After a water break, Annie spent time in the garden eating grass, getting petted and posing for photos. It must have all been very tiring because she then decided to take a break in the conservatory and rest for a while. Annie spread a lot of happiness wherever she went during the day and everyone was sad to see her leave, but they will certainly remember her visit to Ellen Mhor!
