First Aid qualifications for service users at Cygnet Appletree

Service users at Cygnet Appletree recently took part in a two-day First Aid at Work course. The course covered all the basic first aid techniques such as the role of the first aider, unresponsive casualty, communication and casualty care, resuscitation (adult CPR), fainting, burns and scolds.

Well done to the team at Cygnet Lodge Kenton who have achieved AIMS re-accreditation from the Royal College of Psychiatrists. In total Cygnet Lodge Kenton met 96% of the 250 standards that services are measured against.

Cygnet Sherwood Lodge to open two new step-down services

We are pleased to announce that Cygnet Sherwood Lodge, Mansfield, will shortly be opening two brand new community-based step-down services linked to the hospital. The two new services are the two-bed Adele Cottage, just next to Cygnet Sherwood Lodge, and the Sycamores Bungalows located in Alfreton.
