Spencer Ward’s Relax and Unwind Day
Spencer Ward, Cygnet Hospital Sheffield’s low secure female service, recently held a ‘Relax and Unwind’ day organised by the OT team. The day included holistic massage, face masks, hair and nail beauty, mindfulness colouring, guided relaxation and a buffet lunch. The treatments were provided by our very own trained staff; Eniko, who also works in our kitchen provided massages, whilst Becca one of our support workers provided nail care. The Ward Manager and Medical Secretary, Kayli and Penny also provided hair styling with the support of one of the service users.
There was a lot of positive feedback from the day:
