New companion for Craig
Craig, a resident at Yorkshire Supported Living, would like you all to meet his new kitten called Dusty.
Craig has been asking for a pet for a long time, and he was supported to complete an application requesting permission from the landlord. He was able to outline how he felt the kitten would support his mental health and wellbeing and the responsibilities involved looking after a kitten. Craig was very pleased to hear that his application had been approved and he was eager to get his new companion. Craig was supported to find a kitten and purchase all the items necessary for his flat.
Craig is now looking forward to caring for his new friend and the therapeutic benefit this provides for him. Dusty has settled in well and is already being spoiled rotten by Craig and the staff team.
