Introducing our Gardeners of the Month!
The attendees of our gardening project in Yorkshire have been working hard the last few months. A couple of residents have been awarded ‘gardener of the month’ for their efforts.
NB has chopped saplings from around the trees and dug out of the ground big heavy rocks to re-mark the pathway through the woods, where we are creating a nature trail. NB is always cheerful at gardening and loves to play his reggae music whilst he works.
JB has also raked and collected all the leaves from that same area as it’s his favourite thing to do. JB has a few challenges at gardening as he doesn’t like hills, but with a little help and encouragement he gets his tasks done and gains confidence as the day goes on!
